December is one of those crazy months. It's incredibly quick and incredibly slow at the same time... I don't know how that works, but it does. I've been pretty pumped about the mild weather here in New York (hope you're not listening, arctic vortex) because all I need is a little ice cream and a few outdoor adventures to be a happy camper.

Had some of the best gelato I've had in a while at A.B. Biagi... go for the vegan almond flavor (trust me-- this is coming from an ice cream addict).
Wandering through Brooklyn Heights and the lighting was insanely beautiful. Had to snap a pic.

Lately I've been feeling like a muffin manda. Maybe it's the fact that it's warm and summer and berry season, or maybe it's my undying love of breakfast foods (aka breakfast breads), but I have been trying every muffin under the sun. Until now. I've finally filled the muffin recipe void in my life.
